Jonathan Mapes

Jonathan joined New Edge Networks in July 2001 with more than 20 years experience in network engineering and technology planning. Before joining New Edge Networks, Jonathan was chief technology officer for WorldCom Broadband Solutions in Dallas.

Prior to that he was vice president of emerging technologies for Skytel, which was later acquired by WorldCom. Jonathan previously also held network, engineering and technology planning positions with Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems, Comstock Communications and AT&T Bell Laboratories.

Jonathan has a bachelor's degree in computer sciences from the University of Texas in Arlington.
