What are the differences between New Edge's Enterprise T1 and Business T1 access?

With Enterprise T1 service, the committed information rate (CIR) is 100% of the bandwidth -- which means that if your connection speed is 1.5Mbps, the throughput rate is guaranteed not to drop below 1.5Mbps. With Business T1, the lower CIR may result in bandwidth availability falling below maximum potential levels during periods of higher network demands. The consistent performance of our Enterprise T1 service enables service level guarantees for latency and packet delivery.

What bandwidth options are available?

New Edge's Enterprise T1/T3 service provides a range of bandwidth connections to meet every business need, including T1 (1.544Mbps), NxT1 (up to 6.0 Mbps), and fractional DS3 to OC3 (highest available speeds). Depending on your business's number of users and data demands, you can get a perfect-fit bandwidth solution for maximum reliability and productivity.

Are special equipment and expertise needed for installation?
